I picked this up from an old engineers tool box.

Can't find anything about it and what it's used for?
Does anyone know what it's for and called?

I don't know but it looks like a nutcracker to me.
The end that's pointy is for digging out nuts.
Not saying that's what it is but it sure resembles one.

I used to have a nut cracker that looked similar except it did'nt have the hook.

Some nutcrackers can really be deceiving. I got this neat horizontal shotshell loader mounted on a piece of oak from a yard sale. was on the table with the other reloading stuff, in the same red/black color scheme. turned out to be a nutcracker as well....win some lose some...

Lobster Cracker

Pretty sure that one is a lobster/crab/shell fish cracker. The tooth pattern.
