Greetings. This is supposedly a scythe sharpening hammer, possibly from Italy or another part of Europe. It must be a production tool with this rooster logo and a few letters near the logo. Help, Anyone recognize this trademark?
In France I know they use a rooster for a lot of things, for instance they use it in their money system, (as in coins) and other things but my mind is blank at this moment.
So if I was a gambling man (don't tell the wife) I would think maybe France ?
I’m with you 100%. This logo just looks so familiar, but I cannot place it. The squarish shape is fairly unique and seems right for tools and machining. Portugal also uses a lot of rooster images for decorations. I’ll keep digging. Thank you!
I am working on restoring an older pair of cast shelves for one of my daughters. When I took off the many layers of paint, I came across the trademark or logos you see here. The first looks like a "Y and an M with a candy cane in the middle". On the doves, there is a second trademark/logo that is a "24.23". I have come up empty searching the internet. Any ideas or direction is appreciated.
