Hi everyone,

The static jaw and anvil surface have been hit with a grinder, but i was able to remove and measure the dynamic jaw. the measurements are as follows:
height-1.363"
thickness-0.627"
step-0.758"
center to center on holes-2.026"
thanks in advance for any assistance

Welcome to GJ
How is the operation of that vise?
Looks to me that the main screw is from a different vise. Do you have to pull the jaws apart with your hands or can you crank the vise open with the handle? Is there a lot of free play in the main screw before the dynamic (front) jaw moves?

The pictures were taken in as purchased condition, I need to reassemble the vise but the collar is on the wrong side of the dynamic jaw causing it to stick out and making it so I have to pull the jaws open. It seems to me that once I put the collar back into its proper place everything will work normally. The main screw turns freely as it should. I'll report back on how much if any backlash there is

I'm thinking Prentiss also, have one with a "meatball" just like that. May be a not often seen model with the anvil horn on it.
