Can anyone help me identify this bench vise? It was on a table someone was throwing away and a snagged it. No markings except the ones pictured.

That certainly looks very similar to a Chinese one that I had as my first vice. It was rough around the edges but did all I asked from it, for several years before it was passed on to another eager user.

Mine was much better than having no vice - the 6" jaws coped with anything I needed to hold and the swivel was often useful, too.

Hard to beat, "free"

It would be good to use on a welding table where it would be subjected to welding splatter and grinders. Or keep it on an outdoor workbench, grease it up and keep a bucket over it when not using it.

Exactly what I was thinking....it's handy to have a cheap vise around!
