Unusual Craftsman screwdriver?

First post here. I purchased a large lot of tools out of an estate and found what is to me an unusual Craftsman screwdriver in the attached photos.

Is there any significance to the red lettering on the handle of this 3/16" straight slot and / or does it indicate the manufacturing vintage?

What's printed on the 3rd panel?

I don't remember seeing flattip drivers with clear handles.

Those were made by Western Forge. I have a whole set of similar drivers.

late 60's - early 70's......... maybe earlier?

clear handled 'regular' tip?
yeah - it seemed freakish then too!

Wonder why I even try before the first of the coffee kicks in?

Interesting considering that handle color is normally for Phillips drivers.
BTW, the handle looks good. Most of mine are yellow(ish) now.

Looks exactly like all the drivers I have in my worktruck. What is so special

about clear handled drivers ??? They do seem (Sears, that is) to change

designs ocassionally. Eh !
