Unusual Walker Turner Machine

I can't figure this one out - Is it a Drill Press or a Mill or some hermaphrodite.
I fellow near Asheville is selling it on FB for $600...
Any ideas?

It’s a drill press that somebody modified to behave like a mill. But drill chucks are not designed to take a side load, so unless you are VERY gentle with it the chuck will probably fall off while you are milling across a surface.

Or is it just equipped with a precise position table for repetitive work?

Just looks like a drill press with an x/y table. It's also got a fine feed on the quill and the column clamps have nice big handles. Very adjustable.
