Unusual Williams wrench

This is a Williams 2" fixed socket wrench that was supplied with Cincinnatti #2 centerless grinders to remove the control wheel. I got this one second hand in 1969. I have no idea when it was made. It is P/N 278A.

I have it showing up in a 1926 catalog. For 1926 on the socket end it would have Williams in script and manufacturers mark of the W inside a diamond under the script

I also have it showing up in a 1940 and 1948 catalogs with the socket end showing the same script but no W with diamond under the script.
