Update on the "Bus Stop"

Thought I would take advantage of the upgraded board and post some updated pictures of my shop. It is still a work in progress, Epoxy will go down in the spring and I still have a lot of stuff to move and organize. I picked up cheap slat wall from the local linens and things when they closed out. I welcome your ideas and comments.

Are those 8 foot celings in the low side? How far apart are the lights mounted? Are they 4ft each butted up to one another or 8ft'rs butted up to one another?

Progun3400, ITS is the class I race in, SCCA Improved Touring "S."

Strnge, they are 8' 4 tube T-8 fixtures. I picked them up at HD as they were cheaper there than the electrical supply house. The low bay has 8' ceilings and the fixtures are about 4.5' from one another. I added the two that run from the front to back to fill in on the space between the low and high bay and the desk area/under the staircase. I thought I would need a little fill light. There are 6 of the same fixtures in the high bay. 4 on the ceiling and two on each side wall. It's bright enough that I almost don't need a shop light to work under the hood or inside of the car.

Rickairmedic, I know about the 21 window buses but they are not for me. I call it the bus stop since the car is "school bus" yellow, has "stop sign" number panels and if you look closely you can see "recess" on the rear quarters. Here is what is on the back.


edit: I think the bulbs are T-8, they are the "cold weather" type with electronic ballests with 4 32 watt bulbs

Nice Shop. Are those attic trusses for the second floor? What width of truss?

24' x 32' on the shop. Yes, attic trusses, 24' total span. Even without a lot of extra bracing I don't feel the floor deflect upstairs. I used "lifted" scissor trusses for the highbay.
