this was just announced.
While we are sad to say farewell to MODIS, we are enthused that customer loyalty has transitioned to a new generation of technology in VERUS® and VERDICT™. We will continue to offer regular software upgrades for MODIS, as well as expert Customer Care and Repair Service

with the verus out and the verdict modis sales have been next to nothing.
so if you are looking to buy a modis do it now....

Any insight on roughly what a dealer would be willing to sell a Modis for now that they're discontinued?

Interested in that as well, I have been looking at the solus pro pretty hard but would love to have a modis.

Get the solus pro and a vantage pro. The only way you are going to get a deal on a modis is if a dealer is still stuck with one in his inventory. They have not promoted the modis to the dealers for almost a year now. I would bet that there are not too many new ones sitting around. Most dealers I know predicted the end of the modis when the verdict was introduced.

Even though I have a Modis with Euro and Heavy Duty, I don't understand why the Verdict does not have an ignition scope. I still think that Snap-on will introduce one within a few months now that they have killed the Modis. The only question I have is will it be wireless or wired.

good question hybrid. I will see the diagnostics guy in the morning if he shows up at our meeting. I have not heard anyone complain about it as of yet.

Thanks for your response, that's actually the route I was planning on going but I wan't sure of it's disadvantages other only being able to graph 4 parameters on the solus pr compared to the 8 on a modis.
