well here u go still need to do all the drawers and trim but just wanted to show off the new paint and yes its real (snap on red)


also would it be a good idea instead of buying tool box foam to just take some time and rubberize.... undercoat the bottem of all the drawers...

Nice. I have the exact same box, same year. Is the big drawer on the bottom right the only ball bearing drawer?

lol... yes the big drawer on the bottom right is the only ball bearing drawer. I just bought those 2 new slides (you can see if you look real hard in the pic) but im also putting in all new friction slides as well. but they are being very difficult to remove any suggestions? btw very nice box thats what im shooting for!!

It photographs a bit nicer than it is, though it's in pretty solid shape. There's a little corrosion around the bottom parts. The original owner told me that was from when they would clean the floors and some of the stuff they used would get on the box.

What paint did you use to paint you toolbox?

I had one at one time. I still have the piece so you can hang a side box on them. Scott
