Upgrade an old school battery charger?

I have an old battery charger that I would like to make it somewhat automatic. It's basically a DC power supply (transformer and diodes only) at the moment, but I would like to find a circuit that would shut it down when the battery reaches set point. Is that possible? Thanks, Jim

Try this, good for up to 20 amps. Rated for a input power supply of 10 - 30 vdc
