Upgrade for these old garage lights?

I installed these in our new house when we moved in 2005.

My father "saved" about 30 of them from an old grocery store that was being gutted many years ago.

No idea how old they are but I'm guessing 30-40 years? They use 8 foot, HO T12 bulbs

They've performed perfectly over the last 10 years in my garage. Today one of them seemed to "pop" when I turned it on.

Both of the bulbs are non-functional so I'm guessing the ballast has given up.

Tried replacing the bulbs with spares I have on hand with no change. Cleaned the bulb and fixture contacts as well.

I have a couple spare ballasts but I'm wondering if there is something I should do to upgrade these short of replacing them completely?

Is there a way to upgrade the ballasts? Bulbs? Both? Or should I even bother and keep on trucking with the old school ballasts until they are all gone?

Keep using your spare parts till you run out then start replacing with T8s or even better T5HO. T12 is getting harder to find, and at this point there doesn't seem to be much of any price difference to go to T8.

You won't find those ballasts anymore, energy regulations have required the manufacture & importing of them to cease, the good news is there are electronic ballasts to replace them. I like them when them temps are lower as they perform well in that situation, although considering converting to T8 HO...

Some brand new T12 electronic ballasts and fresh HO lamps will suit them old housings just fine,I would retrofit them instead of replacing them with the flimsy mystery metal Mexican/Chinese junk fixtures that are sadly the only thing available today.
