My pictures are uploading sideways. Is there any way I can edit this once they are uploaded?

Not easily. You'd need to use image editing software to rotate the actual file (instead of just having an EXIF orientation tag applied by the phone/camera you took the photo with, which this forum software ignores), and then reupload the rotated file, and update all references to it.

I would like to suggest to the administration that a free fix is available for this issue, at https://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=318291 . I know you plan to eventually convert from vBulletin to Xenforo, but that will be a long time coming, and this looks like a quick and easy way to stop this from frustrating an increasing amount of people (it's been brought up in multiple threads I follow recently) as people continue to upload images under the current software. Note that the developer says it works fine in both 3.x and 4.x vB, although the header only mentions 4.x.

I am looking for the instructions for posting photos. I remember finding it when I first joined, but I was using the photo hosting site that no longer works, can't find the way to do it now.

I am looking for the instructions for posting photos. I remember finding it when I first joined, but I was using the photo hosting site that no longer works, can't find the way to do it now.

What we've been talking about here is this site's built-in photo attachment feature. That's the safest way to share photos, to not have to worry about another outside hosting site problem in the future.

First, make sure you have saved whatever photos you want to attach, on your computer. Then, start a reply and click the "Go Advanced" button under the quick reply box, to get to a page dedicated to creating a reply, with more options on it than the quick reply box has. Scroll down on that page to the "Additional Options" area, and click the "Manage Attachments" button. That opens a pop-up window where you can upload the desired photos from your computer. It's best to do these one at a time to reduce glitches (select one photo, upload it, then select the second photo, upload it, etc as needed). When you're done attaching photos, close the pop-up window, and use the "Preview Post" button in the reply page to make sure they're there. Then submit the post.

If you're on a phone, I don't know what it looks like there, but hopefully that will help you figure it out.

Thanks Hexen, I appreciate the help. Most of this is like opening a combination lock.....It isn't hard, once you know the combination, but if you don't know it, you'll need a lot of luck.
