I use office cubicle flip door cabinets and I do like them. When working, they all seem to be left open which is convenient- cabinets are just shelves then.

My doors slide back so they do not block the light from above.

There will be tons of light above them. I doubt it will create an issue.

My idea is put a row of 5 of them in the very back of my RV garage (14 foot wide) above a row of HF tool boxes.

Then the only other consideration is how high the doors will be when open- are you short-ish like me, or will you have no problem reaching the doors to close them? My cabinets are only 16" tall so it works out for me. Another 6" and it would be a reach.
