Howdy folks, looking for some help with a project. I built a nice bench seat for the boat out of XPS Foam and mahogany luan. Each side was glassed with 2 oz cloth and epoxy, then varnished with spar urethane.
After less than a year of service, the varnish cracked down to the epoxy/cloth layer and has to be removed to enable refinishing. CitriStrip does soften it, but it is very difficult to scrape off the cracked varnish.
Any suggestions for a more powerful stripper that I can purchase and use at home?
