That's tough to aim when it's turtlin' from the cold though.I have a sink in the shop. If I need to take a leak I step outside.
Mine is in a 2nd floor half-bath but it sure saves a lot of water and there's no missing with the first squirtMy shop setup. The urinal is outstanding...it's pretty goddamm hard to miss that thing. Way easier than cleaning around a toilet.
The Australian urinal! No offense to those from down under.Do you mean in addition to the sink? If so the sink should be plumbed for a drain. You can just tap into the same drain.
LOL.
That looks like fun, but it may overflow during beer drinking season.
I picked up a brand new, in the box urinal at the Restore a few years ago. Finally got around to installing it in the garage.
Problem is that I don’t have running water in the garage, so I keep gallon jugs of water for flushing. It doesn’t work at all. The urinal I have has a built in trap, and the flow out of a gallon jug is insufficient to clear the trap. pouring multiple gallon jugs of water dilutes, but still doesn’t really clear the trap.
I have contemplated driving a shallow sand point and installing a pump and pressure tank, along with a commercial flush valve, to get enough flow to provide velocity sufficient to clear the trap, but I’m not sure if all that work is justified, since most of my shop type work is done in a different shop I purchased , one that has a real bathroom, and running water to support it.
Me too...thankful for 16 acres and privacyI have a sink in the shop. If I need to take a leak I step outside.
My legs are a couple inches too short and that would be gross. At that point,,,, just pee in the sink.
2 acres gets it done here.Me too...thankful for 16 acres and privacy![]()
buried in the gravel, thats fancy! my hose, no pun intended, just lays on top of gravel .Mine's a hose on a funnel going through the wall and buried in gravel. No issues for 24 years now.

I don‘t know how plumbing works for you septics but it‘s probably the same as here in Australia. The roof drains into the storm water and the kitchen sink, laundry, bath and toilet drain into the sewerage. The point being that if you tip a cup of coffee down the kitchen sink it ends up in the same place as it would if you tipped it down the toilet. That being said every now and then I piss in the kitchen sink just to freak out the wife, but most nights I don’t get laid anyways so its not like I’m missing anything. The Australian urinal! No offense to those from down under.

What's a "track home"?sweet!!! It is a track home and they just have the hookups there I just have to go buy the utility sink kit for it. Now I have to talk the old lady into me putting a urinal in there...Then she will know it's mans land. Hahahaha
Any issue with the toilet and urinal so close? I've got a 48" wall I want to add both, but having the urinal at head level while seated has me wondering if you would smell piss.
Tract houses were cheaper houses that are on smaller than average lots and used cost cutting construction methods like making them all the same. What's a "track home"?

Sometimes they are just normal houses turned sideways so the lot can be smaller and the houses closer together.
Hasn't been an issue so far... Just need to flush after each use.Any issue with the toilet and urinal so close? I've got a 48" wall I want to add both, but having the urinal at head level while seated has me wondering if you would smell piss.
