US Electrical Co

Does anyone out there know how to determine the manufacture build date on a US Electrical Co grinder? It is a 2.0 HP, 1750 RPM and also has a stamp on the manufacture plate of 8684. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am also trying to figure out the original color. Essentially any information would be more than I currently have!

Very interesting readings, seems as if one of the members called the factory and gave them all the information and in short order they were able to give them a date the model was made.

OP google "United States Electrical Tool Co." I have a 1150lb. grinder by them, called the company with s/n and 3months later they let me know it was built 9-48.
