I'm looking at the harbor freight US General series 2 tool cart shown here

I'm not from the US but will be crossing the border. Any idea if it will fit in the trunk of a Mazda 3. It won't fit in my convertible and that's the only other vehicle I'm able to use. Anybody tried or have a similar sized vehicle? I don't mind unpacking at the store etc.

It is close on my mazda but based on the dimensions it might squeak it without the box, might be a little tall for scraping through the opening once the seat goes down. If it comes apart as it looks like it might than yes, bring tarps to avoid scratches.

So, smuggling the box across the border in your trunk?
AWESOME!!! Yes, it comes apart/ships disassembled. The main box is the big piece and that is where you need to measure. Legs, tray, and wheels should pack around it once it's in.
Should fit lying on it's back going in end first, but you should measure first.

You know what... I've got a box in my van. I can get some quick measurements.

My gut says I doubt it.

Might if you take out of the box, and sit the main box on the back?

I couldn't resist the blue either...

Wouldn’t count on it. Unpacked it wouldn’t fit in the trunk in my Audi A4. It just squeezed in the back seat, and it was super tight.
