Wow, just wow. HF has really upped their game (and their prices). Smart move making the boxes match Snappy. I am sure it's cutting into Snap On's business, if even just slightly.

The old complaints used to be the HF boxes only came in red, and the drawers were too shallow. They've improved both of those. Even if you hate HF, you've got to tip your cap for making improvements.

I dont think there is much HF/SO overlap, but I do hear a few more new techs going HF.

HF absolutely destroyed Husky, Kobalt, and Craftsman.

I'm waiting on another tool storage coupon so I can grab a side cabinet.

My Orange Side Lockers came in on the truck today. A nice step up from the single Craftsman top chest I used to have overloaded on a workbench. Now to get back to new walls.

I have a fairly new craftsmen box and trust me, it wouldn't be hard to beat.

Anybody see one of the new color 72s in person yet?

Why, yes, yes I have. But you won't see one in a store display as every store has the exact same boxes in the exact same colors. At least the 3 HF stores I went to did. Then they opened a new store near me and I learned this from the manager of my new local HF store;
Pro Tip: The color of the big boxes will match the color of the tool carts. That's why the stores display every color of tool cart.

Could be real popular with the John Deere guys.

Based on the colors on the website and most printed advertising, you'd think so. But what actually shows up is gonna be a lot MORE popular with Kawasaki fans.

WHY is hf not getting a top chest for the 72? Wtf is wrong with them??

I can't answer that one. But a 44" chest and a 26" chest fit on top of the 72" roller quite nicely. And the mix of deeper drawers on the 44 and the shallow drawers on the 26 worked out really well for me.

I was going to add a folding tray from the 5 drawer tool cart on the left side because I wanted a place to set tools down after a job to wipe them down before putting them away. But I changed my mind and returned the tray and now have a 14.5" side box on order. Not quite the setup Zexx envisioned, but I'm getting closer...
