I've been talking to darkzero about the aftercooler on his US660V compressor. He machined a bushing so that he could install the aftercooler over the standard outlet port. In thinking about this, here is an idea I had.
The standard configuration I have is that the left side of the head is where the air filter is. This has a square cutout similar to the aftercooler. The right side of the head is the outlet that goes to the tank. This has a 1/2"NPT port that matches the air filter adapter plate that I had to use. Does anyone see any reason that I couldn't just remove the head and reverse it? Is there anything in the head that directs the flow in or out?
