US Jack/Auto Specialties jack stands

I got a new project car and need another pair of jack stands. I've heard of a company near my old hometown that makes them, US Jack. I want to buy made in USA tools, but I want to know if they are actually quality products worth the steep price. The stands look pretty solid on the website, but I was wondering if anybody has used them.

I have a 3-ton set and two 6-ton sets - good quality and in my opinion, worth the price (beyond the fact they are US made)

I like the kind with the pads on top unless I'm jacking something up that has a solid rear axle; which is what those US jacks are made for.
