Anyone have any suggestions on a US made mid rise lift?
In the shop I have a 2 post Atlas that has been great but I need another lift and am getting tired of supporting the Chinese . I don't want to buy another off shore piece. I need the space saving design of a scissor type lift because of my smaller shop. It needs to be commercial grade because of its relatively high use. I've seen many mid rise lifts online and doing the search here but they seem very "tippy", with what appears like a small base. My repair shop has a floor drain in the middle so there is a mild slope (about 1 1/2 inch drop over 10') so I dont feel comfortable with the mid-rise's I've seen.
The base seems skinny and short with wheels on them.
I came across this Chinese peice on gregsmith that is exactly what I need. http://www.gregsmithequipment.com/Atlas-Kwik-Bay-7-000-LB-Mid-Rise-Lift but I'd really rather get a US quality one.
Anyone have a suggestion on a pad rack style in a mid rise. There are many many pad rack style in a low rise but that wouldn't suit our needs.
