Anyone know who makes the toolboxes/cases you see the Aviation Machinist Mates using? The white, metal suitcase style cases.

I'll tell you.. those boxes ****.. We had those in the Marines as the Navy and Marine Corps train all their aviation technicians at the same schools.. But-those boxes are aluminum and I always hated them. That Ebay link above is the right one..

When you guys say "configure them" what do you mean?

All those boxes has organization in the form of sheet-aluminum with Velcro or metal clips to secure every tool in place. In the aviation area of the military each toolbox had an inventory that would be checked and double-checked after the job was done. Every tool had to be in the place it originated, unbroken, and accounted for. I don't have an pictures--but it was always a mess especially the toolboxes which were more outfitted for hydraulic mechanics.. EVERYTHING had hydraulic fluid on it..

^ This at shift turnover, and having to drill/cut all the holes and seal all the internal edges when getting ready for cruise.
