It's the best tool box in the history of toolboxes. Anyone who buys a more expensive box is an idiot and will be publicly humiliated. Just kidding. But am I? Try to start a post about any tool box other than the HF boxes even specify you don't want the HF box. There will be at least 4 recommendations for the HF box. Then you will be told you are financially irresponsible for buying anything else

There's a team of gnomes holding each drawer closed. Sometimes they get tired though and let one fly.

Really though, its friction.

Do they not wear and draws drift open

The friction stop design is used by several tool box companies and if they are removable they will be replaceable but just not available from HF. I returned a tool chest one time because it can be very annoying and dangerous when several drawers full of heavy hand tools drift open by themselves. HF makes a great advanced user tool box (red) but only comes with a 90 day warranty to discover any issues. I had good experience with the older versions of GripLatch or the locking levers found on the HF 56" or 5 drawer cart (red)

That's a shame:/ I think I'll go for the crinkle finish black, and I guess they must be the English version of the hf boxes, I'm thinking mahogany wood top on mine

US Pro boxes are NOT the same as US General from HF. The box you're looking at is nothing like the HF 44".

These boxes are hard to find reviews on, but people seem to like them for the price in the UK. From what I have read, these are on par, maybe slightly better quality than a Halfords box.

Well I can get the top box for the cocraft and I'm only 18 so I don't really want to start financing a tool box
