Hitting hard times, thinking about selling some extras in my box. I have 1/4-7/8 and 6-19. All V/\ series. Good condition. Might sell them on here if theres enough after shipping. Probably craigslist. $40-50? $30? I have no idea

I have seen some of the USA Craftsman wrenches go for ridiculous amounts on eBay. Try there, you may get lucky.

A good thought but I don't do eBay. Looming for a realistic price for a common market. Then decide if they're even worth selling.

That may be your problem. Some one on ebay or may be here, but not real likely, might get all hot and excited about the old V markings. To the average joe, those are just used craftsman wrenches. Although, yes most hand tool production has moved to china now, the average user would probably want the price to be lower than new retail. Just FYI, each set is ~$35-$40 at sears these days. Depending on which sale you get in on.

If you are looking for a collector and thus top dollar, ebay is going to be your best bet.

Craigslist is usually the cheapest of cheap people, next to a garage sale. But you never know. Just keep in mind, it is probably going to cost more / take time to replace them than what you can sell them for.

Edit

When you you say $40-50? 30? are you talking per set or for both sets?
One other suggestion. If you really need to maximize your $ for the items you sell. You may want to consider selling some truck brand tools if you would like to part with them. Especially snap on, would definitely bring more money than craftsman.

For both sets. I mean, things are rough atm, but not bad enough where I wanna part ways with my mac tools yet. Things should be coming around soon. I've been thinking about selling these anyways to replace then with something full polish in the future.

So, if the sets are $80 new, someone looking for USA, $50 would be a decent price? But may have to wait for that price?

You would be lucky to get $30 for both sets for a quick sale. Craftsman RP wrenches are about one of the most prolific ones out there and many times can be had at flea market prices.

I am looking for a 12pc Metric 12pt Craftsman RP set 7mm-18mm to go with my SAE set for the home box. I've been looking on Craigslist, and after shipping, those sets are going for about $25-$30 each for the New-Old-Stock stuff. I might be interested in that metric set, depending on price after shipping.

The V/\ series, is I believe, not that old. I believe you might even be able to find NOS ones in stores.

You might get $3/wrench (assuming 12pt), tops. They don't sell for much more than that...

When I upgraded my I got $25.00 per set on mine...they were just like new, with my initials engraved in them. I was more then happy with that price.

That's nice, but they still are cheap flea market fodder to be had for the more price conscious.
