Hi,

I need a junior hacksaw.

Usual outlets for US tools here in the UK (Snap on & Mac) don't seem to make one.

Any US made juniors available that people know of ?

I think the Junior Hacksaw is a peculiarly British thing! I think Eclipse invented them and I've never seen a U.S. made one!

Aside from Eclipse, loads of others make them. Bahco are probably the easiest to find, but there are loads of others. Worth getting one with a proper handle, rather than the 'bent wire' type! Eclipse and Bahco both offer these!

Oh i see.

Just after a good quality one then. US, UK, German etc no China or Taiwan.

I've been having to remove a lot of broken bolts out of aluminum calipers recently due to the alloy/steel corroding together.

Drilling through the broken bolt with a 10mm drill allows me to cut the remains in half with a junior saw. The two parts can then be pulled out without damage to the threads or the £500 caliper !

A standard size blade is too big to use for what im doing.

The Facom 607 looks ideal though.
