Not sure if this qualifies for the desired "you ****" that everyone seems to want, but I just picked up, IMHO, a decent pawn shop score. I'm definitely happy with it!

23pc SK wrench set. Missing the 18mm though. Rest are like new. $50

Proto 1/2" drive sockets from 3/8" to 1-3/16". Used but decent shape. $15

Wow, it never fails to amaze me on how much American pawn shops sell tools for. Around here, maybe $2 a wrench, $1 a socket... But you have to dig in the box.

That's not even funny... Let me know if you want to flip those sockets ;)

Isn't gonna happen. I'm just slowly trying to replace my Craftsman stuff. Most of the stuff I have gotten has been a mix and match assortment in the $0.25 bin at a local pawn shop (Indestro, Duro, Blackhawk, etc). This has been my first larger all 1 brand purchase for sockets. Looks like Proto may be the way I go for -trying- to make all my 1/2" stuff match.

Good score, but you broke the "you ****" rules. You can't solicit or infer it in any way shape or form. It has to be issued by another member who believes you deserve it. All previous issued "you ****" comments will be voided. If you have any questions you can contact the Garage Journal Legal Department and they will confirm this.

Picked these up as well. As well as some proto deep well sockets and a small handful of misc USA made stuff.

Deep well fractional 1/2" drive protos were $35 in the tin case.

Snap on ratchets were $45 each.

Misc sockets were $0.25 each.

Today is getting better and better.

They also have a brand new williams-bahco 20 piece wrench set for $110. Don't know how much they usually go for, but the suggested retail on the box said almost $700. And they had a 1/4" drive snapon ratchet that I passed up. They were asking $30.
