USA Made Pliers At Sears

Came home the other day and on the counter was my pair of 40+ year old Craftsman duckbill pliers which I seldom use broken in two pieces. My better half pulled them from my toolbox to twist something and snapped them. Its been a long time since I took a broken tool back to Sears so I'm planning for the worst thinking bad attitude from them and being handed Made in China replacements. I was surprised when I went to the plier aisle, grabbed a replacement pair of pliers and it said Made in USA! Walked up to the cashier and in one minute the transaction was completed. With all the horror stories we hear about this one was just the opposite.

That's great! I have seen a lot of the screwdrivers, pliers (not to include those cheaply looking micro/fine tip junk), and wrenches that are still American made. Just bought a bunch of tools to include some Craftsman double ratcheting wrenches and was pleasantly surprised to see USA etched in them. Sears needs to pursue American made Craftsman tools again! People don't mind spending the money to American made, or at least I sure done!

Nice.

I parked in the mall parking lot and was walking in to get a haircut when I spotted a broken craftsman flat blade sitting in the street alongside the curb. Picked it up, walkd into Sears, walked out with my new one. [emoji38]

Sent from my outdated phone using a free app that spies on me.

I can't decide, is this supposed to actually mean something, or just be insulting to the USA? :dunno:
I mentioned this in another thread Jim. Murica is a military saying. It started with our snipers. Pull the trigger, pink spray.... "Murica *****!"

And you should know by now I am as Loyal to America as any man can be. I would never say or do anything to dishonor my country.

I missed that! Sorry!

Unfortunately so many do not use it in that fashion, or with that meaning, and it annoys the hell out of me!
