USA Made Williams Ratcheting wrenches?

Looks like Williams makes a USA made reversible ratcheting wrench set. Seems identical other than the open end to the snapon wrenches.

I've been digging around for USA made ratcheting wrenches and have found a pretty shrunken list. Gearwrench is long gone from the USA, the state of SK's x-frame future being questionable, and Proto quietly discontinuing their USA made ratcheting wrenches, it seems only Snapon and Lang tools are left.

Has anyone used these wrenches? I can hardly find any info on these? Note these are NOT the Taiwan made ones they sell under the same brand.

I think the only thing those Williams ratcheting wrenches share with Snap on is the first generation design ratcheting boxed end. The Williams' beams are thicker just like their non ratcheting Supercombo wrenches and the anti slip open end uses a notch instead of Snap on's flank drive plus teeth..
You might be able to find old stock Armstrong, Matco first generation Proswing series, or first gen Craftsman if you really want made in the USA 72 tooth ratcheting wrenches.
Why though? the best ratcheting wrenches come from Taiwan

Ah you're right, it is the 1st gen box end not 2nd. That does make a big difference. Makes me wonder if they're old stock or still in production.
Regarding why not Taiwan?, I think Taiwan made ratchets can be very very good, I just like USA made stuff.
