Darn. I just got a set of the lisle version on Epstein's Day, but these would match the Tekton drivers and picks hanging on my pegboard so much better...

I hear you. I recently bought Mayhews and I have some of the small ones branded Matco. I like the looks and variety of these though.

I have had $24 in rewards for a long time now and couldn't find anything to buy with it. I have also been wanting a set of mini prybars so this worked out great.

I find myself constantly using pry bars of all types and sizes, but the mini pry bar style is super useful and convenient.
I have a several and always looking for more.

I really like the Tekton handle they use on their picks so, I popped for the four piece mini pry bar set. I would like to see Tekton release larger, heavier duty picks/hooks and trim tools :beer:

I think these will be better than the two piece Mayhew set I have because, those don't have enough handle to blade ratio to me :dunno:

It's good to see Lang releasing their Tool Truck colors to the masses. :thumbup:

I thought last year was the year of the pocket/mini pry bar but, it looks like this year is finishing strong!!!

Tekton should have sent out an email announcing these. What's great? In stock, ships tomorrow.

Aside from Trusty Cook hammers and Wilde made pliers, punches, & chisels, Tekton pretty much goes their own way.

Mayhew and Channellock are sharing screwdriver handles along with their mini hook/pick sets on the new Made in USA sets.

I'll probably spring for these. I've had good luck with the Tekton pick sets I have so if these mini prybars give me similar results I'll be really pleased.

I've had a suspicion that those Channellock and Mayhew products may be from the same source as the Tekton. Just a hunch on my part but the handles have similar qualities and there doesn't seem to be a lot of suppliers stateside these days. I quizzed a GJ member that has both Tekton and Channellock drivers about this and he told me he would look close to see if they might be.

Anyone have any info on this?

While Channellock and Mayhew are coming from the same place, Tekton is different since they make their own handles. Not sure who's making the blades.

Wish they had a zero-degree one. After hanging around GJ, I got a set of the Mayhew mini's. The straight one is great for prying things (like ancient plastic switches) open.

Regardless, nice to see more USA-made stuff from Tekton. Last week, the FedEx guy handed me my order from Tekton: A set of their big pry bars, and some more Erst socket rail rebrands. All made in USA, in a Tekton box.

Did you notice the pry bar racks coming soon? Made in Canada. Likely the same source as the wrench hanging racks.

I ordered a set of the mini pry bars the other day when I saw this thread. (I also received an email that same day about the mini pry bars) They arrived at my place today and I found a 1/4" socket driver (spinner handle) included with the order. I only ordered the little pry bar set so either the folks at Tekton made a mistake, or they included a gift with my order. There was no paperwork included so I can't know for sure..... but I am going to assume it was a gift. Thanks Tekton!

Nope. None. I just looked at my order history on the Tekton website and I was only charged for the 4 piece mini pry bar set. $24.00 dollars, plus sales tax...

The smallest Wilde-sourced prybar they offer is the 12”. Wilde makes an 8” but Tekton doesnt sell it.
It seems these are filling two voids, yet being neither a standard 8” prybar nor a pocket prybar.
These are very close in length to my old hard handle Matco/Snap-on mini pry bars, but the multiple angles and narrow chisel tip of the business end make these unique.
While I do question how well that sharp pointed tip will hold up, these seem like a solid offering.
