USA Trenching Shovel

I'd say go to menards, but you don't have any in ID. You can also try Lowes, Home depo, any farm stores.

If you were close I would give you one. Mine never get used. I always use a regular shovel. it works faster. I can stand in the trench with a regular shovel and i have a 3wide size 12 shoe. The narrow ones make me bend over more and are a pain in the bum. The dirt still falls in and I need to clean it out. When I can stand in the trench I can dig faster and it much easier on the old back. Then again I have a small trencher for my Farmal cub tractor. It has not been used in 15 years. I am so old I am not sure I remember what a trench is needed for anymore. LOL That is why I have grand sons. LOL

No Menards west of Casper, WY. Menards is the best of the big home centers IMO, but the drive to Casper is a killer.With all the midwesterners who snowbird in the south and west, I'd think Menards would open a few stores around here to make the snowbirds feel at home in the winter, but noooo, not yet.

Is there a Menards in Wyoming? Cheyenne needs one pretty bad. LOL Laramie didnt have much of any kind of real hardware store when I lived there.

Check sears. They have a new USA made stick tool line up that are very good actually. They introduced them back earlier this year. Idk if they have a trench shovel but I know they have several variations of regular shovels

There's one in Casper. The way I heard it, that's because someone in the Menards family owns property in Casper.

To the OP: I was browsing a local hardware store last week and happened down the yard and garden aisle, and there were several USA-made tools, including a trenching shovel. Basically, they carried two ranges of most of the tools--cheap imports, and USA or Mexican-made. Can't remember the brand--might have been Wolverine. They're known for good quality yard tools, so might be worth checking out.
