Anyone have any idea what this might be worth, assuming it is in good condition and all/most tools are still with it?

Thanks guys for the responses. The guy's asking $2k for it, although he's been selling it for 6 months or so at least and was asking $3k (the internet is a wonderful/scary thing, you can run but you cannot hide; I found all of this history by searching on google for a while).

It's a bit too rich for me, so I was hoping it would not be worth that much so I could push him down a lot on his price. I think it's a very cool tool box.

Facom has this box which looks a little bit like the USAG box ( a bit smaller though) but it`s on sale right now for 859.- €

Looks neat, but alot of wasted space. Wouldn't win a "you ****" award at that price, for sure.

vssjim, can you take some pics for us? I would love to see bigger pics and all the tools that went with the set... can you differentiate Facom and where USAG stands brand wise... lower, higher, same etc. ?

Depends a lot on what tools are included. It might be a screaming good deal or a so-so deal.

Old post but interesting. I've got a couple of USAG tools; they're not fancy, but good quality. Saw a much larger set advertised several months ago that was complete; according to the ad, it was owned and being sold by an older gent who owned a Ferrari, and was retiring from the hobby. For many years USAG's claim to fame was that they supplied the Ferrari factory and the F1 team as well. Don't know if that's still the case.
