Strangely, I was just looking at those bit sets.

I don’t think any other quality manufacturer offers a set so comprehensive, and certainly not at such a reasonable price.

picked up at a local flea market and love the quality and the matt chrome and polished combination finish
all very nice condition and well stamped, love the 3/8 ratchet i use this all the time now

I recently picked these screwdrivers in a UK bootsale (fleamarket). Can anyone date them at all - google isn’t helping much. Are they pre or post Facom buyout? They feel great and looked to have worn really well too, even though they needed a real scrub up! Any ideas?

Those are late 1980s / early 1990s. Clean in warm water with some dish soap.

I'd be interested in any good USAG exclusive tools that aren't in the Facom range, like the big bit set 692 J100 above.

X-Grip hex bits 660 X/B9
Facom only do these "OGV Grip" as fixed bit sockets. USAG also do them as hex keys 280 X/S9.
