USB/M18 Buddy heater

Didn't want to have to buy C batteries just to power that little fan so... USB/M18 modified Buddy heater:
View media item 101064Need: M18 (or any) power pack, a usb cable, and two male spade connectors.

Open up the heater, pull the terminals off the battery connectors and reconnect them to your usb cable. (red and black are the standard 5V power colors in USB) That simple.

Nice. A good use for a lower amp battery that isn't used for much anymore.

I love it. Thank you so much for posting this. I have the same heater and though the same thing about constantly feeding it D batteries. I am sure it will work a lot better with the fan. Probably will not overheat and lock out like mine does currently. I am gonna order that USB adapter right now I think.
