I recently pulled 4/0 4/0 2/0 #4 MHF cable from the meter and disconnect at my barn to my new shop. I installed conduit from the outlet at the disconnect all the way to the shop, and came up through the block with conduit.

Now I am ready to mount the panel to the wall and connect power. My question is, do I have to have the wire in conduit all the way to the box? The wire will be inside the wall and covered with 21/32 OSB so it should be protected.
