Impacts on all powered tools for me.
IMO: impact sockets should always be bought first and be the 'standard' for general use sockets (not chrome). Then buy chrome as a special use tool when you need the clearance. People should be posting that they have 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 impacts, but should they get a set of 1/4 chromes... instead of always the other way around.
