My garage door openers do not have provisions and do not have lights that come on when the doors are opened. I want to use a occupancy sensor to turn on one seperate light when I open my garage door and drive in. Sounds simple enough, but i would also like to find one that does not trigger on and off all the time while working in there if there is not enough motion. I can find the sensors with an added photocell that keeps the light off if their is enough ambient light, but I would like to know if the main shop lighting using T8 fluorescents will satisfy the sensor to keep the light off while working.
