Used Craftsman tool box drawer weight capacity question

Recently I picked up a used Craftsman tool box and intermediate chest at a garage sale. Usually I prefer the classic grey/red 1960's and 1970's Craftsman boxes. But it was at a really good price so I weakened under the delusion I could use it at work. If I replace the top rubber mat it will look a lot better.

Based on the 80 year anniversary sticker, I presume these are ~2007 vintage boxes. The top box has the a sticker showing it is model number 706.596970 (67332). The bottom box has the a sticker showing it is model number 706.596850 (67928). The 706 prefix shows that they are made by Waterloo.
But I cannot find any information using either set of numbers on the Internet or on SearsPartsDirect.

Does anyone have any idea of the load capacity of the drawer ball bearing slides?

Thanks

Call that number and ask them. I bet they know. I'd guess 40 to 80 pounds if it has roller bearings.

waterloo made many of the boxes for cman. give them a call.
i did, after i attempted to order new slides thru sears. sears took the money, placed the slides on indefinite back order. took quite awhile to get a refund from sears. the i.d. # crossed over, the slides from waterloo were 60% less than sears
sears........... is a dead issue.

Most likely 50-75lb load rating but the size of the intermediate drawers are mostly for smaller tools. Just don't overload the large bottom drawers and everything should work fine at diy home base.

Thanks everyone for the input.

I managed to find the 2011 catalog online. The really low end Craftsman tool boxes had a load capacity of 25 lbs per drawer. But the ones with the inset sides like the lower box were 50 lbs per drawer. So I suspect it is around 50 lbs per drawer. But I'll give Waterloo a call in the morning and see if they show the replacement drawer slide weight capacity.

I just picked up a box that uses the same slides 15.40 plus shipping from Waterloo. Sears only listed one side and was very proud of them. I'm going to order 2 sets for the deep drawers on my lower
