If oil change places wont officially take other fluids like ATF and brake fluid, wtf are we supposed to do with them? Why shouldn't I just mix them in with used oil and drop the concoction off at a parts store?

They do not take ATF ? Mix the brake fluid in and there will be no issues.

I can't believe everybody is just giving this stuff away. I put all my oil into a 55 gallon drum. When it's full I post an ad on craigslist. $50 and you bring me a new drum or pump it out. Just so we're clear THEY PAY ME. They are getting a good deal too, motor oil has more BTUs per gallon that $4 heating oil.

Anybody wants to drop off some oil PM me for my address. ;)

I'm gonna have to try this.. 55 gallon drum might take quite some time.

A drum takes a long time for a hobby type. I have my own shop, if it wasn't for that would have a lube place do the oil just due to the mess.
