Found one for sale for $70, but pretty sure I can get a better price.
It's been used, but not all beat to death.
It's beyond the early s/n range that had recalls.
Anything to look for on these? What do they cost to repair if needed?
There are a fair number of places I could use one, so thinking hard on it.

I have an early build one, it broke (when spinning the tool it generated heat in the head and didn't spin the anvil with very much force/bound up) and I had it sitting around in my garage because I didn't send it in for warranty fast enough. I disassembled it multiple times, and with the help of a member on the forum I got it fixed up. Pretty simple tool, they sell the head as an assembly but it's a simple setup (it's basically a pinion gear turning a ring gear just like a differential). The issue with the one I own is the pinion gear nut backed off. To repair it, I backed it off (used a pair of needle nose pliers with a pry bar between the handles, not an optimal setup but it worked). Cleaned the threads, applied blue thread lock, reinstalled and tightened while turning the head to ensure it didn't bind. Tool is like brand new again. Very simple tool, replacing vanes would also be easy. I've had a few air ratchets apart, and this tool is more simplistic in design.

Here's a picture of the nut that backs off.

Sorry I edited my post after and added that information. The tool felt like it was binding up, didn't free spin as fast as it should, sounded off, lack of power, a lot of heat being built up in the head.
