Hey all!
My wife and I went to a "used restaurant supply store" the other day and I was amazed at what all I found that could apply to my garage shop and for very reasonable prices!
I found narrow, long stainless steel shelves that would be perfect for holding bottles of fluids etc. and that could hang on the wall priced very cheaply!
I also found a stainless steel sink that stood tall enough that you wouldn't have to bend over to use "and" it came with the foot controls for turning the water on or off! That would be great for the times when your hands are greasy and you want to wash up out in the garage without getting the faucets messy!
we found bar stools, commercial refrigerators, coffree makers, even pop corn machines, and all kinds of things that could be used in the garage or shop...all at very reasonable prices.
Apparently, these used restaurant houses buy up all this stuff when restaurents and hotels, etc, either close or update. The sell this stuff to these stores very cheaply and they in turn sell it all again but at really very affordable prices.
You would really be amazed at what you can find at these places that would really work great for your garage or shop! Plus most of this stuff is stainless and built very durable.
Check your area to see if you have one of these used restaurant supply places and check them out. You'll be amazed at what you can pick up very reasonably for your shop or garage.

One of my parts washers is a double pot S/S sink with drain boards on both ends. I converted it to a recycling solvent system with individual pumps and flex hoses with brushes on them. It will take cylinder heads and small blocks sitting on S/S wire racks in the pots. Very easy to maintain and quite economical as the solvent lasts and lasts with the sediment containers sitting beneath the original drains. Jack
