Used one in my area for sale, looks like this design restricts access to working on the exhaust or trans pan etc.. anyone have any experience with this lift or similar?

We had one in the shop years ago its only good as a tire change or brake lift not for underside at all .The one we had sat around so long the pivots started to seize up , it was in an area that got wet often though . we sold it years ago for 5 or 6 hundred and it was not clean it needed to be sandblasted and painted . It would probably be handy in a home owner setting better than nothing depending on your planned use . We have a mid rise mohawk now and it gets little use however it will lift a full size truck or suv and will go up high enough to get under and do oil changes standing up but again limited to what you can do we had it in a body shop and that it was good for .

New ones might be worth a check...as I think $900 is way over priced for used of that style. Check weight limit and position of vehicle as you use it.
