I'm always on the hunt for nice used Premium tools, and here recently I've been wanting another T72, F80, & S80 "set". Great ratchets, my favorite, and want a back up set just because I want to.

But what has my mind boggled slightly, is good condition T72s are going for the same price as good condition F80s, what gives? Not that it'll keep me from buying them, just a little confused.

Since they're all going to be just back-ups, just be patient and check ebay regularly.

I've picked up new, used-like new Snap-On ratchets for dirt cheap. I've gotten all my T72's for 40 or less...my F80's for around 45...and my S80A's for right around 50.

I guess that makes sense. I peruse SO ratchets on Ebay frequently and have seen T72's and F80's going for similar prices ranging from $40 to $60. The current retails are $89.95 and $109.95 so I guess from a user standpoint, when folks are looking for them used but in good condition, it doesn't seem to matter size, drive or current retail. If you look at several real ($1 opening bid, no reserve) Ebay "sold" auctions you will have a nice idea of real world market value.

My problem is I'm only ever looking for hard handled SO ratchets (I already have a T72 & F80). Unfortunately if the handle is in really good shape or the ratchet is new most Ebay sellers seem to think they are worth the same or more than new retail!
