Here's that Epiq my friend bought. I can't believe he paid that kind of money for just ten drawers.

That box is on promo for 11k. The 3rd long drawer is a big deal.

I'll post mine tomorrow

What does it cost normally for that configuration?

12.5 I think

I brought a 68 2 drawer for 5500 plus a free inspection scope. He threw in the light for the hutch. $2700 for the hutch and the light was 600.

This is 3 grand cheaper than rock n roll

Well made the deal at a good price and pick it up on Sunday. I think I'm going to keep the locker and sell the black top. I would like to put a butcher block on it and possibly mount my hutch on top of the bottom. The bottom is an older bottom it don't have the round keys and so does the blue locker. The black locker and top have the round keys. Drawer liners are there. All the drawers open and close nice. It will need a good cleaning overall. Oh and the kart is with the locker.

Do you drive into Michigan?ferndale to be specific? Place up here selling used bowling alley old cool solid maple for a pretty good price

Man, I'd be all over that, as it's once in lifetime opportunity. Bowling alley solid woods make awesome side table for entertainment room, etc. There was a prior GJ thread where guy made awesome kitchen table as well.

Are they pricing by linear foot ?? How much ??

Rough cut with chainsaw, and clean up with a skillsaw from both sides. The skilly will only cut 2 3/8 so you'll have to belt sand the rest.

If you wanted it perfect, take the rough cut to the water jet cutter.

saw the lane today, The 6 inch thick is overkill thats the top of the lane where the ball lands, further down the lane its about 1.5 inches think But its 4 foot wide so you could almost make 2 tops from 1 piece

Well the hunt continues. This seller in other words is a dbass. He makes it a point to tell me he don't need the money and that the box isn't going anywhere cause he don't feel like emptying it out. We made plans to do the deal today, I rented an enclosed uhaul do to getting a big snow storm. I texted him last night to make sure we're good to go and this morning at 7 he decides to text me back saying he's plowing snow and that's 15 grand he can't pass up to sell me the box. So I tell him we will do it this evening well at 1:30 he texts and says he can't do it this evening cause were supposed to get more snow and that's another 15 grand he has to make this evening. He says I can come now, well I have plans this afternoon and can't come now that's why I said this evening. I told him I drive truck and next weekend is booked solid so 2 weeks is the soonest I can get there. He proceeds to tell me again that he don't need the money and he don't feel like taking the time to clean it out and that he leaves in a week and a half for vacation til may, so I said f-ck the whole deal and told him forget it. I got no time for dumb people that don't wanna sell sh-t. If it's not for sale then don't advertise it. And I personally don't care if you don't need the money or not, if you feel its a point to tell me how much money you have it just makes me think that Mich less of you. I hate braggers.

I would be driving to the guy with the.3 bay Matco box instead. Looks like a nicer box. Not as many Matco boxes out there and they.seem to go for less than Snap On. Doesn't make them any less of a quality box.

Wow, craigslist people never cease to amaze me. He's not a *******, well maybe, but at least dishonest and possibly lazy. 15 grand for plowing snow? Sounds like I need a new career. :headscrat

Hi you guys. I am new here. And I am building the toolbox of tomorrow. I am starting with customized toolboxes but soon will have them fully manufactured here.

The Extreme Workstation Toolbox - EWT-Digital

Car Workshops can no longer thrive with old strategies in today’s multi-dimensional industry cycle. There are five strategic factors to consider:

1. Re-think the workshop model
2. Drive tighter connections between your workshop and the digital world.
3. Elevate the in-workshop experience
4. Reboot the diagnostic process
5. Challenge traditional organizational structure

Please check out my Indiegogo campaign

This reads like the meaningless education speak we have to listen to at our teacher staff development sessions.

Well it's looking like I'm getting a new box from Shannon at strictly toolboxes. Either an extreme or a tool vault. I've talked to countless sellers and none want to be reasonable. I explain what there particular box is going for and all they know is what they paid or what a box like it goes for today. I need a box and might as well get a quality box for a good price.

I would a the very least go look at the Matco box. Are you sure its only 25" deep? I think some are 27" or 28" deep. I cant tell by the pic but is it a 6s or 5s? Plus it has a stainless top already. Its just my opinion and nothing against Strictlytoolboxes.com but for around the same or even less money you can get a awesome USA made box. Just my opinion so please everyone don't start COO war.

It is 25" he measured. Also, add ons such as lockers would be additional money due to the box being custom built. Honestly that drops the value to me.

I've been looking and I'm not giving a ridiculous amount for a toolbox. I got 3-4k to work with I want a triple bank 30" deep. I'm not giving 3500 for a classic 96 or a beginner Mac box. I've researched sold boxes yet everyone still thinks there 15+ year old krl is worth 5500 bucks. I see asking and selling prices and the difference is huge.

The extreme boxes have heavier drawer slides the anyone, 28" deep drawers, snap on master series is 27 or 27.5. Lifetime warranty is hard to beat over tool vault. The price of the tool vault with the hutch is half the cost of what I'd give for a krl1023 with no hutch. I'll give a fair buck but these sellers are mostly nuts.

I get it. You know what you want and don't want to compromise . Buying new is the way to go for you. The only thing I dont like about some of the Tool Vaults and Montezuma etc is the available colors and the drawer lay outs. Other than that they seem like a great value. Pretty much can only get black or blue which would be ok with me because those 2 are my favorite tool box colors. Well those and the classic red. I get the Classic series thing. I was quoted like $2200 for a new classic 96 in orange off the Rock and roll cab truck. That was with my trade but it would have still been less than what some of these guys on craifslist are asking. I saw one the other day for 5k, it still may be on there

Right, I don't like all them goofy colors. Red, blue, and black is available from extreme. Tool vault is orange, lime green, blue and black.

I don't trade boxes all the time so this time I'm very specific in what I want. 72x30 triple bank. I never reconfigure drawers so that don't bother me either.

I actually like the orange color and the blue they offer. I wish one of my local home depots would get the Extreme boxes some have seen popping up at stores around the country so I can see one in person
