Dear all
I currently have the following 'good' pliers:
- 9 inch lineman's
- 9 inch needle nose
- 11 inch needle nose
- 5 inch circlip pliers x2 (internal and external)
- 7 inch circlip pliers x2 (internal and external)
The above pliers are all from good makes (SO, Channellock, Knipex).
I also have a pair of 'cheap' unbranded 11 inch 35D bent nose pliers, which I sometimes resort to, but I wish to upgrade to a better quality one that has a more solid grip and does not twist...
For a recent parking brake job that I did, which involved removing a seat and digging into the 'bowel' of the car to access brake cables - I wished I had a pair of 90D nose pliers for it.
So my question is, how useful is 90D nose vs 35D nose? And if my budget can only afford one of them, which one should I get? Also, am I better off with 9 inch bent nose, or 11 inch?
Thanks in advance
