Uses for a big lift table?

i got a crazy deal on this 3 ton 30 by 60 inch foot operated hydraulic lift table by enerpac but now am wondering what the heck someone uses this for? i really bought it just for the top because it is so well built but i thought maybe there might be some uses for this that i am missing. anyone have one or use one that can chime in? thanks (sorry for the bad pictures but it is 3 below zero and i didn't want to unload it yet.

Looks like one of those things you would constantly trip over and pile stuff on top of. But when you need it, I'm sure there's no substitute for it!

We have tables just like that at work for welding tables.

Although we don't build any Enerpac tables we do build Enerpac presses.

Looking at that 2nd picture......I wonder who built these tables for Enerpac as there are exposed tacks, thats a big no no when it comes to structural code.

That wouldn't bother me.

The fact that it's a 3-ton rated table, with the 3 support pipes being welded only to the top does. Why wouldn't that be gussetted/etc. into the rest of it?

Those support pipes are just guides, the pipes you see are welded to the bottom frame work of the table, there is a inner pipe sleeved inside the pipe thats visible. Thus keeping the table from "rocking" from uneven loads are on the table.

They are very useful for loading, unloading and general transferring of heavy parts.

It would make a nice general work and welding table. Just be careful to not ground through the hydraulics.

The side ones are. The jack one is connected to a small plate welded to the bottom of the table. Unless that's not the actual table top we see from the bottom, IMO, it's not a very good design.
