Uses for extra air hose reel?

Hi,

I have an extra air hose reel (manual crank type) lying around. What would you do with something like that? I was thinking of using it to wind a water hose into the garage or an extension cord. Any other creative uses you can think of?

Thanks.

I took one and replaced the lower pressure fittings for high pressure and made a pressure washer reel.

I would be careful with making it a high pressure wheel, depending on what you have it might burst on you, I've seen it happen. It's a good idea, just be careful.

I would use it for electric extension cord or, since most of us have extra air hose to go along with extra hose reels, I made myself a little cart with a spare reel mounted to the bottom of the cart top, so I have less slack coiled near where I'm working. I plan to add electric to my cart when I can get to it, and I was thinking of using the same reel for it since I know it will fit two under there.

I understand completely. I made sure no low pressure parts were exposed to the pressure. Been using it for my indoor electrical pressure washer (2000 psi) on the other end of the shop for three years now.
