Huck them in a nearby dumpster if you want to get rid of them. That's actually what I do with all my trash (dumpster at work)

The bigger ones (1 ton trucks and up) make good bases to weld a pipe on for a pipe stand or grinder pedastal. Or even a mailbox post.

I made a portable vise stand from an old big truck drum. A buddy made a stand for his chop saw using a big truck brake drum as a base. He used smaller brake drums (3/4 ton pickup drums) as a base for the long stock supports. Sorry no pics of any of these.

I liked the idea of a wood stove.

On the farm we used some car brake drums to make a double barrel stand. We welded pipe to each drum, using the drum as a foot for the leg. Worked pretty good. Actually having a farm background is somewhat of a hazard to me as I find it VERY hard to throw anything away, especially metal. I have built lots of stuff from iron piles.
