I am finding it hard to find anything on AA. I know they can't have everything on there but don't they have most of the more common items? I wanted to know when this ratchet was made but could not find it listed. So, do I just **** at using AA or is it not on there? Thanks

That's a "modern era" Craftsman and "EE" is Easco, which is now part of Apex. I think I remember those from the early to mid 80s.

That looks like an Quick Clean variant. If you push the quick release button in, the whole ratchet head should come out. I think the gimmick is that you can take it "apart" without using tools (screwdrivers or snap ring pliers)

If you try this, maybe do it with the ratchet in a bucket or a ziploc bag in case a tiny spring leaps out.

I sold the Canadian variant of one of these not long ago. Fairly rare, because they only made them for a few years.

If you Google search for "Craftsman Quick Clean" you should find more info about it.

I have a couple rebuild kits for those. I never could figure out how the head was retained in the ratchet body. Blackhawk and Proto also made the same ratchet.

Thanks guys, It is the Quick Clean. I found it on Google, here is the link. http://www.thegaragegazette.com/index.php?topic=2869.0

What a cool ratchet. I had to try it but I only released the guts part way so I didn't loose anything. ratchet works great.

PS: I thought at first that it did not come apart that way as the button is also the quick release for the socket. You have to really press it down hard to release the guts.
