New here so thanks in advance for the advice and direction…
Just bought a 60K Modine Hot Dawg and am having a buddy help install it in my 3 car garage. Since the house has existing CSST ran for the fireplaces, furnace and water heater – and has a couple free spots in the manifold, he suggested running CSST to the new garage furnace and simply strapping the gas line to the drywall inside the garage and up the ceiling to the unit. Does this seem like a good practice? I know this would be fine with black pipe but is it the same with CSST? Appreciate any insight here and / or direction.
